Jim's Review
🐛
Jim is a worm, so extinction events are personal. Kolbert's reporting is world-class — she takes you from the Andes to the Great Barrier Reef and makes you feel the weight of what we're losing. It's not a preachy book; it's a devastatingly well-reported one. Each chapter focuses on a different species, and each one hits harder than the last. Jim finished this book more determined than ever to protect the soil beneath his segments. Pulitzer-worthy indeed.
