George Orwell's dystopian masterpiece about a totalitarian society where Big Brother watches everything, truth is manufactured, and independent thought is a crime. A chilling exploration of power, surveillance, and the manipulation of language and history.

Jim's Review
🐛
Big Brother is watching — and Jim is reading. This book hit different in college when the professor connected it to real-world politics. Orwell wrote this in 1949 and somehow predicted half of modern life. Doublethink, thoughtcrime, newspeak — these words are in our vocabulary because this book is THAT powerful. Required reading for being a functioning human, honestly.
